Jabil Inc, a US-based electronics manufacturer, is setting up a factory at the SIPCOT industrial park in Tiruchi, Tamil Nadu. The company will invest ₹2,000 crore and create 5,000 jobs. The decision follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the State government in September 2024. The park's location, connectivity, and infrastructure were key factors in the company's decision. An announcement is expected in February.
