ISG has launched a research study to assess the ecosystem of service providers facilitating Oracle-based digital transformation. The study will evaluate providers offering professional consulting, managed services, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure capabilities. Three main quadrants will be assessed: Professional Services, Managed Services, and OCI Solutions and Capabilities. The reports will be released in January 2026 and will provide valuable insights for enterprises seeking to reassess vendor relationships and explore new engagements.
Information Services Group (ISG), a leading AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has initiated a comprehensive research study to assess the ecosystem of service providers facilitating Oracle-based digital transformation. The study, titled "Oracle Cloud and Technology Ecosystem Providers," aims to evaluate providers offering professional consulting, managed services, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) capabilities. The findings will be published in a series of ISG Provider Lens® reports, scheduled for release in January 2026.
The study focuses on three main quadrants:
1. Professional Services: Evaluating providers offering strategic and implementation support for Oracle solutions, including OCI and Fusion Applications. Key services include strategic advisory, cloud readiness assessments, application migration, and change management. Providers are assessed on their ability to utilize enabling technologies such as GenAI and agentic AI for seamless integration and innovation.
2. Managed Services: Assessing managed service providers (MSPs) based on their Oracle portfolio specializations. These MSPs go beyond traditional IT support, serving as strategic partners that drive defined business outcomes for enterprises. They offer flexible delivery models and strong security frameworks.
3. OCI Solutions and Capabilities: Covering service providers specializing in OCI and offering support through infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) models. Providers are evaluated on their ability to modernize IT environments, enhance cloud operations, and enable digital transformation using OCI services.
The study will produce geographically focused reports covering the global Oracle cloud and technology ecosystem market, examining products and services available in the U.S., Europe, Brazil, and Asia Pacific. ISG analysts Roman Pelzel (Europe), Siddharth Idnani (U.S.), Maharshi Pandya (Asia Pacific), Sonam Vijay Chawla (Asia Pacific), and Cristiane Tarricone (Brazil) will serve as authors of the reports.
ISG has distributed surveys to nearly 60 providers, and the research team will collaborate with ISG’s global advisors to produce the reports. The study will also feature expanded customer experience (CX) data, measuring actual enterprise experience with specific provider services and solutions based on ISG’s continuous CX research.
Enterprises will find valuable insights to evaluate their current vendor relationships, explore new engagements, and make informed decisions about Oracle-based digital transformation. ISG advisors will use the information to recommend providers to ISG’s enterprise clients.
