Irish athlete Nicola Tuthill has won bronze in the hammer throw at the World University Games in Germany, following Kate O'Connor's gold in the heptathlon. Tuthill saved her best throws for the last three rounds, throwing a personal best 69.98m. She also won silver at the European Under-23 Championships last weekend.
