Intel Aims to Regain Dominance with New Panther Lake Chips

Intel has released a new chip, Core Ultra Series 3, to regain its dominance in computer chip design. The chip, called Panther Lake, is built on a 2-nanometre equivalent 18A process and promises competitive processing, graphics, and AI performance while also being power-efficient. Testing the chip in an MSI Prestige 14 Flip laptop shows it outperforms Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and M5 in Apple's 14-inch MacBook Pro in some benchmarks. The chip's performance in regular usage means it can handle multiple browser tabs without slowing down.
