India's international visitor spend reached a record ₹3.1TN in 2024, a 9% increase from the previous peak in 2019. Domestic travel spend also soared to ₹15.5TN, 22% above 2019 levels. The sector contributed ₹21TN to the Indian economy last year, 20% ahead of 2019, and supported an all-time high of almost 46.5MN jobs. WTTC calls for continued investment and policy support to maintain this momentum.
