Indian stock markets, Sensex and Nifty, declined in early trade on Dec 3 amid foreign fund outflows and profit-taking by investors. Hindustan Unilever, Bharat Electronics, and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles were major laggards, while Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, and ICICI Bank were gainers. Foreign Institutional Investors offloaded equities worth ₹3,642.30 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors bought stocks worth ₹4,645.94 crore. The rupee fell to a record low of 90.05 against the US dollar.
