Top hospitality companies, including Tata's IHCL and Hyatt Hotels, have expressed interest in developing eco-tourism resorts in the Andaman Islands. The resorts will be built on a PPP basis at Neil Island, Aves Island, Long Island, and Smith Island. A virtual pre-bid meeting was held, attended by major players in the sector. The bidding process is set to take place on September 15.
