The Indian Army is inviting applications for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES-54) for unmarried males who have completed Class 12 with PCM and JEE (Main). Candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years old and not have been debarred from UPSC exams. On successful completion of the four-year course, cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Indian Army and receive a stipend of Rs 56,100.

The Indian Army has officially announced the commencement of the recruitment process for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 54th Course, scheduled to commence in January 2026. This prestigious opportunity is open to unmarried males who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and have appeared for the JEE (Main) 2025 examination. The selection process involves multiple stages, including shortlisting, Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, document verification, medical examination, and merit list announcement.

Successful candidates will be appointed to the post of Lieutenant and will undergo a rigorous four-year training program at the Cadet’s Training Wing (CTW) and Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. Upon successful completion, they will be granted Permanent Commission in the Indian Army and receive a stipend of Rs 56,100 per month (as admissible to NDA cadets after 3 years of training). The approximate salary on commissioning is Rs 17-18 Lakhs per annum (Level 10 in Pay matrix, excluding free medical cover & travel benefits).
