CMS, with a team of over 5,000 lawyers, brings expertise in digital assets and blockchain technology. These areas align with the objectives outlined in FinTech Scotland's Research and Innovation Roadmap.
The partnership with CMS and Mastercard will offer Scottish fintech companies opportunities to collaborate, potentially leading to the development of new commercial avenues and entry into international markets. CMS's expertise complements Scotland's initiatives, including the upcoming Centre of Excellence in Distributed Ledger Technologies, which is being developed in partnership with Edinburgh Napier University.
