Concorde Career Colleges and Imagen Dental Partners have announced the recipients of Imagen's $3,325 scholarships to Concorde students. The scholarships are part of a workforce solutions partnership to address the demand for dental hygienists in California. Imagen Dental Partners is a Dental Partnership Organization with over 110 partner practices in 16 states.

Concorde Career Colleges and Imagen Dental Partners have announced the recipients of Imagen's $3,325 scholarships to Concorde students. The scholarships are part of a workforce solutions partnership aimed at addressing the growing demand for dental hygienists in California. Imagen Dental Partners, a Dental Partnership Organization with over 110 partner practices in 16 states, has demonstrated its commitment to cultivating emerging talent in dentistry.

The scholarships, totaling nearly $10,000, were awarded to students at Concorde's Garden Grove, San Bernardino, and San Diego campuses. The recipients include Bishnu Khatiwada, Genessis Amigon, and Tram Le-Doan. These students are committed to making a meaningful impact in healthcare, particularly in underserved communities and military families.

Dr. Sameeri Puri, Chief Clinical Officer of Imagen Dental Partners, commented on the significance of the partnership, stating, "Imagen is deeply invested in shaping the future of dentistry. Many of our partners have welcomed Concorde graduates into their teams and found them to be highly capable and ready to contribute day one. Supporting scholarships for Concorde students is a natural extension of that alignment."

Concorde Career Colleges, part of the Universal Technical Institute, offers a dental hygiene program that combines online and in-person coursework, lab instruction, and clinical experience. The program prepares students to enter the dental industry in as few as 17 months. Nationwide, employment of dental hygienists is projected to grow 9% from 2023 to 2033, much faster than the average for all occupations. In California, employment for dental hygienists is expected to grow by 15% from 2022 to 2032.

In addition to the California scholarships, Imagen plans to engage with Concorde's dental hygiene students in Florida and Texas through campus visits and career fairs, as the company addresses workforce demands in those regions.
