Ispire Technology Inc. (ISPR.US), a leading technology company, has announced that its joint venture, IKE Tech LLC, will be showcasing its innovative technology at the seventh annual Next Generation Nicotine Delivery Systems Summit in Miami. The event, scheduled for June 4-5 at the Hyatt Regency hotel, brings together key representatives from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) industry, and the tobacco sector to discuss strategies for legal compliance and commercialization.
This announcement comes at a pivotal moment for IKE Tech, which has recently achieved a significant milestone. The company has submitted a Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) and Tobacco Product Master File (TPMF) to the FDA for its Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) system chip. The FDA has acknowledged receipt of the PMTA, confirming that it meets the acceptance criteria and has entered the formal review process.
This submission marks the first instance where an independent, compatible blockchain-driven age verification component has been submitted as a standalone PMTA application. Unlike traditional age verification methods that occur at the point of purchase, IKE Tech's platform offers continuous, real-time identity verification, providing unprecedented security against underage use. IKE Tech has formally requested expedited review from the FDA, emphasizing the technology's potential to enhance public health.
During the summit, John
, the Senior Vice President of International Nicotine at and President of IKE Tech, will participate in a panel discussion titled "Technological Solutions to Prevent Youth Use of Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems" on Wednesday, June 4, at 2:00 PM. In his role as President of IKE Tech, Patterson will address several key topics, including the persistent challenges of youth vaping, the gaps in current regulatory pathways, and the unintended consequences for adult users. He will also discuss the use of continuous age verification as a direct solution to prevent underage access, leveraging advanced technologies such as biometric verification, blockchain security, and BLE to elevate industry standards and ensure that ENDS products are used only by authorized adults. For those interested in scheduling a meeting with John Patterson or representatives from Ispire Technology, please email john.p@iketech.com.
