IG Extends Trading Hours for US ETFs to 24/7 for UK Pro Investors

IG has launched 24-hour trading for 9 US-listed ETFs available to professional investors in the UK. Trading hours will extend from 9am to 1am Monday to Friday, facilitated by alternative trading system Blue Ocean. The ETFs include Vanguard S&P 500, iShares Bitcoin Trust, and VanEck Vectors Gold Miners. The move aims to give UK investors access to global markets and compete with their US peers. IG plans to expand the offering in the future.
