IBV International Vaults (IBV) offers secure storage for valuables such as gold and bitcoin across locations in London, Dubai, and South Africa. The company serves 40,000 customers and boasts advanced security features in its London vault, including bullet-resistant glass and biometric scanners [1].

Founded in South Africa in 2002, IBV has since expanded to nine branches, with another in development. The London branch, located in a Grade II-listed building previously occupied by a bank, opened in 2020 [1].

IBV's London vault features state-of-the-art security systems. Upon entering, biometric readers scan both fingerprints and irises. The vaults are protected by bullet-resistant glass and floor-to-ceiling steel. Seismic detection sensors ensure any tampering attempts are immediately detected [1].

Clients have access to various safe deposit box sizes, ranging from small enough to store a cellphone to entire rooms. Prices start at about $800 a year and can go up to seven figures. The company does not know what the safes contain, but popular items include gold, silver, jewelry, diamonds, and cryptocurrency hard drives [1].

IBV provides insurance cover worth up to £100,000 and offers a Rolls-Royce transfer service. Clients must go through a detailed application process involving committee approval. Members have access to networking events and Rolls-Royce transfers [1].

The company also buys, sells, and stores gold, which is a popular investment for its clients. "Buyers and sellers love to play the game of taking profit when the price rises and also acquire when the price goes down," said Ashok Sewnarain, the founder and chairman of IBV [1].
