IBM (NYSE:IBM) and the United States Tennis Association (USTA) have rolled out innovative AI-powered digital experiences for the 2025 US Open tennis tournament. The centerpiece of these enhancements is 'Match Chat', an AI assistant that uses IBM Watsonx Orchestrate to provide real-time answers during and after singles matches. Additionally, the enhanced IBM SlamTracker now features live Likelihood to Win probabilities and a new 'Key Points' feature that offers three-bullet summaries of articles and match analysis.

A global survey conducted ahead of the tournament revealed that 86% of tennis fans worldwide see value in AI-powered features. The AI-powered enhancements are designed to enhance the fan experience by providing real-time insights and analysis, making the tournament more engaging and interactive.

The 2025 US Open, scheduled to run from August 18 to September 7, will feature these AI-powered features on USOpen.org and the US Open mobile app. This initiative underscores IBM's commitment to leveraging AI technology to create meaningful experiences for its clients and partners.
