Hyundai is reportedly stopping production of its Santa Cruz truck earlier than expected to focus on a body-on-frame truck. The Santa Cruz has struggled in sales, with only 25,499 units sold in 2025, compared to 155,051 Ford Maverick trucks. Hyundai plans to launch a full-fledged truck program with off-road models, aiming for "truly capable" vehicles that will surpass its current offerings.
