This whale executed a substantial purchase of approximately 259,367 HYPE tokens, spending around $9.976 million in USDC at an average price of $38.46 per token. The conviction behind this purchase is evident, given the significant amount of capital involved and the token's proximity to its all-time high. The whale's history on the Hyperliquid platform further underscores their market acumen, having previously realized over $10 million in profit from trading HYPE.

With HYPE's price surpassing $40, Licheng has begun to take profits, reducing his leveraged long positions while retaining a substantial holding of 440,000 HYPE long contracts and all 200,000 HYPE spot holdings. This strategy has netted him an unrealized profit of approximately $6.5 million.
