Hyatt Expands Lifestyle Portfolio with Bunkhouse Hotels Integration into World of Hyatt

Hyatt has expanded its lifestyle portfolio by integrating Bunkhouse Hotels into its World of Hyatt loyalty program. Participating hotels in Texas and Mexico will now offer full World of Hyatt benefits, including earning and redeeming points. This move enhances the World of Hyatt proposition with authentic, culturally anchored guest experiences, marking another step in Hyatt's strategy to strengthen its positioning in the boutique and experiential hospitality segment.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a significant expansion of its lifestyle portfolio by integrating Bunkhouse Hotels into its World of Hyatt loyalty program. This strategic move enhances the World of Hyatt proposition by offering authentic, culturally anchored guest experiences and strengthens Hyatt's positioning in the boutique and experiential hospitality segment.

Seven Bunkhouse hotels, including properties in Austin, Houston, Todos Santos, and Mexico City, have already joined the World of Hyatt program. These hotels offer a unique boutique experience, with more to follow in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. World of Hyatt members can now earn base points, work towards elite status, and enjoy on-property benefits at these properties. Additionally, special limited-time experiences are available for members to bid on with points, providing unique perks and amenities.

The integration of Bunkhouse Hotels into the World of Hyatt program brings several benefits to members. They can earn 5 base points per eligible $1 spent at participating Bunkhouse Hotels and 4 bonus points per eligible $1 spent on the World of Hyatt Credit Card at these properties. Members also have the opportunity to earn credit towards elite tier status and Milestone Rewards with every qualifying stay. Furthermore, members can unlock new perks through award chart participation and on-property elite benefits.

To celebrate the integration, Hyatt has launched four limited-edition experiences at Bunkhouse properties. These experiences offer one-of-a-kind access and huge perks, including a full two-night hotel buyout at Hotel San Fernando, a restorative couples escape in Mexico, a luxury getaway in Texas, and a vinyl and barbecue experience in the heart of Texas. These auctions start at just 5,000 World of Hyatt points, with bidding open through Aug. 18.

The expansion of the World of Hyatt program with Bunkhouse Hotels is part of Hyatt's broader strategy to differentiate itself in the competitive hospitality market.
