Husqvarna Appoints Glen Instone as New CEO, Pavel Hajman to Leave by Year-End

Glen Instone, current President of the Husqvarna Forest and Garden Division, has been appointed CEO of Husqvarna Group, succeeding Pavel Hajman. Instone will assume his new role on August 11, 2025. Instone has been with the company since 2002 and holds a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and B.A. (Hons) in Accounting & Finance. The Board of Directors expressed their appreciation for Hajman's leadership and dedication to the company.
Sweden's Husqvarna Group has announced the appointment of Glen Instone as its new CEO, effective August 11, 2025. Instone, currently the President of the Husqvarna Forest and Garden Division, will succeed Pavel Hajman, who has been at the helm since May 2023 [1].Instone, who has been with the company since 2002, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He holds a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and a B.A. (Hons) in Accounting & Finance. Prior to his current position, he served as the company's chief financial officer and held various key positions within the Forest and Garden Division [2].

The company reported first-quarter operating profit below expectations in April, hit by soft demand in North America, currency headwinds, and lower prices. Earnings before interest and tax fell 21% to 1.53 billion Swedish crowns ($156.96 million), missing analysts' average forecast of 1.71 billion crowns [1].
Husqvarna Group is a global leader in innovative solutions for managing forests, parks, and gardens, as well as equipment and diamond tools for the construction industry. The company reported net sales of SEK 48.4 billion in 2024 and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm [4].
