"HULEZHI: Meme Token Warns of Brain-Machine Slavery"
Moonshot, a blockchain development company, has launched a new meme token on the Ethereum chain, dubbed "Brain-Machine Slave" or HULEZHI. The token, which carries a market value of $22 million at launch, is a concept that aims to raise awareness about the potential risks of brain-machine interfaces and digital slavery.
HULEZHI is named after a programmer who, in a series of transactions, sent significant amounts of ETH to a burn address, along with Chinese messages detailing a new criminal pattern involving brain-machine slavery. The programmer expressed their concern about the gradual deprivation of victims' desire senses, leading to a state of complete digital machine slavery. They also mentioned their intention to leave the world if they became a victim in the final stage.
The programmer, HULEZHI, had previously made notable donations to various organizations. They donated 711 ETH (worth $1.91 million) to WikiLeaks, 700 ETH (worth $1.87 million) to Endaoment, a blockchain-based public charity organization, and 133 ETH (worth $35.4 thousand) to the Ethereum Foundation, which was later refunded.
Moonshot's launch of HULEZHI serves as a cautionary tale about the potential dangers of brain-machine interfaces and digital slavery. The token is a reminder of the importance of ethical considerations in the development and use of such technologies. While meme coins often lack practical use cases and have significant price fluctuations, they can serve as powerful tools for raising awareness and sparking conversation about important issues.
