Huawei has regained the top spot in China's smartphone market, capturing 18.1% of the local phone market in Q2, shipping 12.5 million units. The US-based International Data Corporation report shows Huawei outflanking US tech giant Apple and local competitors including Xiaomi. China's overall smartphone market shrank after six quarters of growth, with shipments totaling 69 million units, down 4% on-year.
