Wise Money Finance learned that BMO Capital Markets released a report on Wednesday, which pointed out five specific investment points that investors should consider from the second half of 2024.
Firstly, BMO Capital Markets pointed out: "We still believe that the US stock market is still in a bull market, even if the major market averages happen to pullback or consolidate from where they are now to the end of the year."
Secondly, the investment firm said that valuation expansion is still a key discussion point, but it said "a closer examination suggests that valuation levels may not be as severe as advertised."
Thirdly, the investment bank said that stock selection is becoming more important because "stock correlation is declining within, while fundamental factors are still very dispersed."
Fourth, "style and size investing seems to be out of favor," as the financial industry continues to focus on growth stocks, "which we expect to change over the next few months."
Finally, the company believes the best sector opportunities are in the technology and financial sectors, but said "the details differ for each."
