Hotel Workers Strike at RLJ Lodging Trust Properties in LA and Philly

Hotel workers at RLJ Lodging Trust-owned hotels in Los Angeles and Philadelphia, operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, have gone on strike to demand fair wages and benefits. The workers, represented by UNITE HERE Local 11 and UNITE HERE Local 274, seek raises that keep up with the rising cost of living, pensions, and high-quality union healthcare. RLJ Lodging Trust recently announced a year-over-year drop in revenue and net income and donated $25,000 to efforts to defeat a $30 minimum wage for hospitality workers in Los Angeles.
