Hooker Furnishings has agreed to sell its Pulaski Furniture and Samuel Lawrence Furniture casegoods brands to Magnussen Home Furnishings for an estimated $4.8 million, based on the net book value of the assets being sold. The transaction is part of the company's efforts to focus on its Home Meridian segment. The sale is expected to close upon final adjustment to closing values, pursuant to the terms of the asset purchase agreement.
