Emperor International Holdings, a Hong Kong builder, has secured backing from a key group of banks for a loan extension plan worth HK$16.5 billion ($2.1 billion). The banks, part of the coordination committee, agreed to extend the maturity of the borrowings to July 31, 2027, after Emperor offered HK$77 million in fresh funding. The plan is now being circulated to all lenders for further comments.
