Hitachi plans to develop new GenAI solutions for software modernization and customer service, leveraging Gemini models to modernize legacy systems and Google Cloud Contact Center AI for enhanced customer experiences [1]. The company will also ensure the safety and security of GenAI solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments and collaborate with Google Cloud on joint go-to-market initiatives.

Toshiaki Tokunaga, Executive Vice President and Executive Officer at Hitachi, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating, "By augmenting the capabilities of our developers and customer success units with Google Cloud GenAI solutions, Hitachi will be able to better serve the needs of its customers in diverse industries and across complex domains such as energy, mobility, manufacturing, and digital services" [1].
