Hello Kitty's parent Sanrio shares hit a 10-year low as shareholders planned to sell their stakes

The owner of the Hello Kitty brand, Sanrio, saw its shares fall as much as 17 per cent in early Tokyo trading, according to data, more than three times the three-month average volume.
