Hecla Mining to sell Casa Berardi gold mine to Orezone for up to $593 million. The deal includes an upfront cash payment of $160 million, 65.7 million Orezone common shares, and deferred payments totaling $80 million. Contingent consideration could total up to $241 million, including production-based royalty payments and a payment linked to a gold price exceeding $4,200 per ounce. The transaction is supported by Franco-Nevada, a sponsor of Orezone.
