HDFC Gold ETF Changes Structure to Invest in Gold Derivatives and Other Gold-Related Instruments

HDFC Mutual Fund has announced changes to its gold ETF, HDFC Gold ETF, effective April 22. The fund will invest in gold derivatives and other gold-related instruments, such as Gold Deposit Scheme, Gold Monetisation Scheme, and Exchange Traded Commodity Derivatives. The investment limit for these instruments will not exceed 50% of the net asset value, with a limit of 20% for GDS of banks and GMS. The changes aim to optimize the fund's structure and provide investors with more diversified investment options.
