HAL Aims to Increase Civilian Market Share to 25% in Next 10 Years

HAL aims to tap civilian market, targeting 25% of its total turnover from civil aviation over the next 10 years. The company plans to lease and domestically manufacture Russia's SJ-100 aircraft, starting with 10 units and increasing domestic manufacturing over three years. HAL will also focus on increasing its civil footprint and has signed an MoU with Russia's PJSC-UAC for the production of SJ-100 aircraft in India.
