Hainan's Literary Gems: Unveiling Key Insights into Free Trade and Reform

Recently, the Office of the Central Publicity Department revealed the 2024 theme publication key titles, with two works from Hainan Province making the list. These works include a book titled "Interpretation of Hainan Free Trade Port Hotspots" submitted by Hainan Publishing House and "Xiaoping's Path" from Sanhuan Publishing House.

"Interpretation of Hainan Free Trade Port Hotspots" is organized by the Publicity Department of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee. It provides an in-depth analysis and explanation of the core aspects of the Hainan Free Trade Port, addressing 17 critical issues related to its development.

"Xiaoping's Path," created by esteemed cultural scholar Zhu Hong, narrates the unique experiences of Xiaoping during his labor training in Jiangxi. The book delves into his profound thoughts on major topics like China's reform and opening up, reflecting his journey and steadfast beliefs during challenging times.

According to the notice from the Office of the Central Publicity Department regarding the preparations for the 2024 theme publication, a total of 2,528 titles were submitted by various regions and departments. After evaluation, 171 titles were selected as key theme publications for 2024, which comprises 151 book titles and 20 audio-visual electronic publications. The National Publishing Fund Planning and Management Office will provide special support for these selected publications.

The recognition of these works highlights their significance in shedding light on key topics and fostering understanding among audiences, further drawing attention to both historic and contemporary issues pertinent to Chinese society and development.
