Hagerty Inc's Monterey Jet Center auction achieved $57.4 million in sales, with 80% of lots sold, and set eight new record auction prices across various models, including a 2005 Maserati MC12 Stradale for $5.2 million, a new record for the most valuable modern Maserati sold at auction. Bidder registration increased by over 20% compared to the previous year, and the event was broadcast live on YouTube and other platforms. The strong demand and record-breaking sales suggest Hagerty's strategic positioning in the collector car market and growing interest in modern collectibles.

Hagerty Inc's annual Monterey Jet Center Auction, held on August 13-14, 2025, achieved a significant milestone with $57.4 million in total sales, representing an 80% sell-through rate of all lots. The event, conducted in conjunction with Motorlux and held at the Monterey Jet Center, saw eight new record auction prices set across various marques and models. This strong performance underscores Hagerty's strategic positioning in the collector car market and the growing interest in modern collectibles.

One of the standout sales was a 2005 Maserati MC12 Stradale, which fetched $5,202,500, setting a new record for the most valuable modern Maserati sold at auction. The previous record for the MC12 model was $3,800,000. The auction also saw a 2008 Koenigsegg CCXR set a new record for the model at $3,222,500, quadrupling the previous price paid for the same car in 2015.

The auction's success was bolstered by a 20% increase in bidder registration compared to the previous year, indicating a growing enthusiasm among collectors and enthusiasts. The event was broadcast live on Broad Arrow's YouTube channel, as well as via Hagerty's FAST Channel lineup on Samsung TV Plus, Tubi, Amazon Fire TV, and Alexa devices, reaching a wide audience.

Barney Ruprecht, Senior Car Specialist and Vice-President of Auctions for Broad Arrow, commented on the auction's success, stating, "Our 2025 Monterey Jet Center Auction was another strong sale for Broad Arrow. Collectors and industry insiders took notice of the quality and relevance of the cars on offer, which translated to standout prices across today’s most in-demand categories."

The auction's results reflect the particular and continuing strength of modern collectibles, as witnessed by the generational rotation of the collector car market. Broad Arrow continues to expand its global footprint, with plans for three new auctions in 2025, including the inaugural Zoute Concours Auction, the debut Las Vegas Auction, and the Zürich Auction.
