AAPL --

On July 24, well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the new iPhone 17 will have a thinner body, and the positioning of the new iPhone 17 is not to replace the Plus, but Apple is trying to find a new design trend outside the existing iPhone product line. The product positioning of the new iPhone 17 is not to compete with the hardware specifications (processor, camera, etc.), but to focus on innovative design.

Moreover, Kuo also said that Apple will remove the iPhone 17 Plus. At present, the Plus only accounts for about 5-10% of the total shipment of the new iPhone, which means that the other three models of iPhone (standard, Pro and Pro Max) have already done a good job of covering the product gap of high-end phones, and the Plus is redundant.

The known specifications of the new iPhone 17 include: 1. The screen size is about 6.6 inches, 2. The screen resolution is about 2740*1260, 3. The A19 processor (the high-end iPhone uses the A19 Pro), 4. The dynamic island area is similar to the current one, 5. The middle frame is made of titanium and aluminum alloy, with a titanium content lower than the current Pro and Pro Max middle frames (other iPhone 17 models use aluminum middle frames), 6. Equipped with Apple's own 5G chip, 7. Only equipped with a single rear camera (ultra-wide angle).
