Grand Canyon Education has agreed to settle a qui tam lawsuit for $35 million with the US Department of Justice and the Department of Education. The case centered on allegations that the company's enrollment counselor compensation plan violated Title IV law. The settlement will not take effect until a court hearing on November 14. The company will record the settlement in its financial statements for the period ended September 30.
