Google and the World Bank are collaborating to accelerate digital transformation in emerging markets using AI technology, including Gemini models. They aim to deploy Open Network Stacks to provide citizens with vital services and interoperable digital networks in sectors like agriculture, healthcare, and skilling. Google.org is also funding a nonprofit, Networks for Humanity, to develop universal digital infrastructure. Google will invest $15 billion in a gigawatt-scale data centre in Visakhapatnam and its largest AI hub outside the US.
