Alphabet’s

has officially launched Gemini Enterprise on Thursday, a new artificial intelligence platform designed for business customers, marking its most ambitious push yet to capture the corporate AI market. Built on Google’s most advanced Gemini models, the platform aims to bring the full power of Google AI into every workflow — far beyond the capabilities of traditional chatbots.

According to Google, Gemini Enterprise acts as a conversational AI hub where employees can securely interact with their company’s data, documents, and applications. It offers both pre-built Google AI agents and the tools for enterprises to create and deploy their own custom agents, enabling everything from deep research and data analysis to workflow automation.

Google describes the new platform as “the new front door for AI in the workplace.” Several major companies — including Gap, Figma, and Klarna — have already adopted Gemini Enterprise to streamline operations and unlock new efficiencies.

The company highlighted early use cases demonstrating how Gemini Enterprise can transform industries. HCA Healthcare is piloting a Gemini-powered Nurse Handoff solution that helps transfer patient information during shift changes, saving an estimated millions of hours annually. Best Buy has leveraged Gemini tools to enhance customer service, resulting in a 200% increase in customers rescheduling deliveries on their own and a 30% improvement in resolving questions related to price matching and recycling.

Google itself is using AI internally across coding, marketing, and supply chain management. The company noted that nearly half of all new code at Google is now generated by AI and reviewed by engineers, significantly boosting productivity and development speed.

The launch of Gemini Enterprise reflects Google’s full-stack approach to AI, integrating its powerful infrastructure, research, and models into one seamless enterprise ecosystem. The company’s AI infrastructure powers products such as Search and YouTube, supported by Nvidia GPUs and its own Tensor Processing Units (TPUs). The latest TPU generation, Ironwood, offers a tenfold performance improvement and will be generally available soon.

Google Research and DeepMind continue to push the boundaries of science, robotics, and quantum computing. Recent Nobel Prizes awarded to Google scientists — including Michel Devoret in Physics and Demis Hassabis and John Jumper in Chemistry for their work on AlphaFold — highlight the company’s pioneering role in AI and scientific innovation.

The Gemini model series remains Google’s flagship foundation model. Gemini 2.5 Pro has led the LM Arena rankings for more than six months across text and vision categories. Google’s generative AI portfolio also includes Veo, Imagen, and Nano Banana for image and video creation, now used by over 13 million developers worldwide.

AI has also become deeply integrated across Google’s products and platforms. AI Overviews in Search now reach over 2 billion users, while AI-powered tools in Google Workspace continue to transform how employees work. Altogether, Google processes 1.3 quadrillion monthly tokens across its ecosystem, a sharp rise from 980 trillion in July.

With Gemini Enterprise, Google aims to make enterprise AI adoption faster, more scalable, and deeply connected to each organization’s unique data and workflows. Positioned as the gateway to Google’s full AI stack, the platform represents a major step toward reshaping how businesses operate in the era of artificial intelligence.
