Google's AR15 color correction will introduce intensity sliders to make colors clearer for colorblind users.
IT Home July 10th news, Android Authority, a technology media, published articles today (July 10th), indicating that Google plans to add intensity sliders to the color correction settings in Android 15 system to help colorblind users adjust the color display more flexibly.
There are hundreds of millions of people worldwide with some form of color blindness, many of whom do not even know they have it. Colorblindness sufferers have difficulty distinguishing between specific colors such as red, green, and blue, and need to rely on assistive features to compensate for their visual deficiencies.
IT Home Note: Under the current system settings of Android, the assistive features item contains an option of "Color and Motion", with a dedicated color correction setting page. Colorblind users can switch between several color correction modes of Android, each of which can compensate for different degrees of color blindness.
However, in Android 15, Google also plans to expand the color correction settings by adding intensity sliders, including low, medium, and high options, to help colorblind users adjust the intensity according to their own color blindness.
