Google co-founder Sergey Brin has reached a settlement with the families of two pilots who died in a plane crash off the California coast in 2023. The lawsuit alleged that defective fuel equipment caused the crash. Brin's private island in Fiji was the destination of the twin-engine seaplane. The settlement is pending the exchange of closing documents and disbursement of the settlement fund, expected to be finalized in 60 days.
