Gold Hunter Resources Inc. (CSE: HUNT) (FSE: 6RH) (OTC Pink: GHREF) has recently announced encouraging assay results from its Phase 1 exploration program at the Great Northern Project in Newfoundland. These results validate known mineralized trends and extend them, setting the stage for a more aggressive drilling campaign in 2025. The company's strategic focus on systematic exploration and data-driven approach has led to the confirmation of continuous mineralization and open-ended potential for further growth.

Highlights from the Phase 1 exploration program include:

* Peak gold assay of 7.27 g/t Au from an outcrop surface sample located at the south end of the Simms Ridge Trend, confirming mineralization continuity.
* Ten additional samples returning values exceeding 1.0 g/t Au, reinforcing the potential to upgrade these mineralized trends through systematic exploration.
* Extension of the Simms Ridge Trend by 550 metres, increasing its total length from 950 metres to approximately 1,400 metres. This expansion bridges previously unexplored gaps and underscores the project's capacity for rapid growth in known mineralized corridors.

The ongoing Phase 1 program validates the presence of continuous mineralization within historically underexplored areas, supporting Gold Hunter's strategy of building a strong foundation for future drilling. Winter conditions have temporarily paused Geotech's VTEM ("Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic") airborne survey, with 43% of the planned lines flown. The survey will resume in the new year, adding critical geophysical insights to support drill targeting and ground geophysical surveys planned for 2025.

Gold Hunter's focus on systematic exploration, including upcoming soil sampling, ground geophysics, and the resumed VTEM survey, will refine multiple drill targets for the 2025 drilling program. With the property fully consolidated, the company is poised to discover new mineralized zones and significantly enhance the project's potential resource base as they move toward more aggressive drilling campaigns.

The Great Northern Project is situated near Sops Arm, Pollard's Point, and Jackson's Arm, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Project encompasses a 40 km section of the Doucers Valley Fault, a key geological feature known to host numerous gold occurrences, including the Thor and Rattling Brook Deposits, historic Browning Mine and at least twelve mineralized trends throughout the project area. Gold mineralization is hosted in various lithologies, from Precambrian or Ordovician granites to younger volcanic and sedimentary rocks, typically found along splays off the Doucers Valley Fault.

The Doucers Valley Fault extends from Ireland to New Brunswick and plays a crucial role in the region's geology. This fault system, part of a larger network associated with the closing of the Iapetus Ocean, has influenced mineralization patterns across Newfoundland. Multiple reactivation phases of the fault have contributed to the region's rich mineral deposits, including those on the Great Northern Project.

The Great Northern Project is located in a mining-friendly jurisdiction with excellent infrastructure. Accessible year-round, supported by local communities such as Sop's Arm, Pollard's Point, and Jackson's Arm. Existing infrastructure facilitates exploration and any potential future operations. Newfoundland hosts a trained workforce, with easy access to consultants and service providers through Gold Hunter's extensive network and over 20 years of experience in the province. Early settlers established mining communities in the region, creating a long-standing, supportive environment for mining activities. The local communities are known for their strong backing of mining operations, owing to the rich history of mining in northwestern Newfoundland, which dates back over a century. Early 20th-century mining operations helped shape the economy and infrastructure of the area, making it a stable and welcoming region for new mining ventures.

The Company has elected to solely focus on the Great Northern Project and has decided to relinquish its Cameron Lake East project. Gold Hunter has returned its 100% interest in the project to EMX Royalty Corp. for zero consideration, ensuring that EMXty Corp. will keep the project.

Gold Hunter Resources' strategic exploration and data integration approach at the Great Northern Project has yielded promising results, validating and extending mineralized trends. As the company moves toward a more aggressive drilling campaign in 2025, investors can expect further developments and potential discoveries that may significantly enhance the project's resource base. With a strong focus on systematic exploration and a data-driven approach, Gold Hunter is well-positioned to unlock the full potential of the Great Northern Project in Newfoundland, Canada.
