Gnosis has expanded its delegate governance with a $4.8M VPN plan, with 98% support from voters. The Gnosis VPN will provide blockchain-driven privacy protection, acting as a solution to traditional VPN systems. Additionally, proposals have been introduced to decentralize and enhance GnosisDAO operations, including a governance monitoring service and a new proposal dashboard. The GnosisDAO Delegate Program has also onboarded its first cohort of community delegates.

Gnosis, a prominent blockchain platform known for its innovative projects in payments, has made significant strides towards full-stack decentralization with its latest developments. The firm has announced details of its working plans for March 2025, including a strategic proposal to sustain the development of Gnosis VPN, a decentralized privacy tool. The Snapshot vote for this proposal garnered 98% support from participants, securing $4.8 million and 500 GNO tokens for the HOPR Association over the next 24 months.

The Gnosis VPN, powered by blockchain technology, aims to provide users with robust privacy protection, serving as an alternative to traditional Virtual Private Network (VPN) systems. This initiative is part of Gnosis's broader mission to develop a decentralized ecosystem. The funding will enable the VPN to become operational and market-ready, further enhancing the platform's privacy-focused solutions.

In addition to the VPN development, Gnosis has introduced two proposals to decentralize and improve the efficiency of GnosisDAO operations. GIP-123, which has reached Phase 1 status, proposes implementing a governance monitoring service from Curia Labs. This service will provide real-time governance analytics, enhancing operational transparency and better visibility of DAO activities.

GIP-124, now in Phase 2, focuses on developing a new tool called GnosisGov Navigator. This dashboard will offer intuitive visualizations, allowing users to track governance proposals, delegate operations, and voting records. The funding for this dashboard aims to improve community engagement by simplifying access to governance data.

The GnosisDAO Delegate Program, launched in March 2022, has reached a significant milestone by onboarding its first cohort of community delegates. StableLab and Karpatkey organized this program, which aims to boost community involvement and better represent DAO members. The selected delegates received a 5,000 GNO delegation, enabling them to represent token holders in governance decisions. This program encourages GNO token holders to delegate their tokens for active participation in future governance procedures.

Gnosis continues to develop its decentralization strategy through established governance models and the backing of innovative projects. These advancements position the platform to maintain its leadership in the blockchain space, focusing on privacy, transparency, and community engagement.
