GlobalFoundries Releases 130nm SiGe Platform for High-Performance Smart Mobile and Industrial Applications

GlobalFoundries has released its 130nm complementary Bi-CMOS (CBIC) SiGe platform, the highest-performance technology to date. The platform offers unmatched performance with NPN transistors exceeding 400 GHz ft/fmax and PNP transistors surpassing 200 GHz. It is optimized for RF performance in connected applications, such as cellular smartphones, wireless infrastructure, optical networking, satellite communications, and industrial IoT. The platform is available for prototyping through GF's GlobalShuttle program and RF reference designs are available through GF's self-service GF Connect portal.
