Giza Pioneers Agent-Driven DeFi With Real-Time Intelligence

Giza is pioneering a new approach in the decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape by developing agents that adapt, think, and act with cryptographic precision, unlike the rigid scripts and static bots that currently dominate the market. In an interview, CEO Renç Korzay shared his vision of "agent-driven DeFi," which aims to replace traditional automation with real-time intelligence and personalized financial autonomy.
Korzay explained that Giza’s agents optimize continuously, enforce user-defined limits without compromise, and operate with full transparency in a trust-minimized system. This approach is not just about improving tools but also about redefining how capital moves through the digital world. Giza’s agents adapt 24/7, optimize decisions rather than just transactions, and provide a personalized risk/gas cadence, making sophisticated finance feel personal rather than prescriptive.
Traditional bots operate based on hard-coded rules, whereas Giza’s agents ingest market data through a shared ontology. This allows them to switch protocols instantly when market conditions change, ensuring inhuman discipline and in-the-moment sense-making. The result is thousands of micro-rebalances, each cryptographically proven to maximize the user’s personalized objective function.
Giza balances security and user sovereignty through a tripartite control system involving the user, smart-account, and agent. Users mint an ERC-4337 smart account and issue session keys that define the scope and duration of an agent’s actions. All transfers outside these guard-rails revert at the contract level, eliminating private-key risk and custody hand-off. An EigenLayer-backed execution mesh further reinforces these safe-by-design rails with crypto-economic teeth.
Giza leverages AI to ensure that agents’ decisions are verifiable and transparent. The company has been a leader in verifiable computation, using cryptographic proof systems to mathematically validate every decision. Giza Agents combine smart account and session keys architecture, creating auditable permission boundaries where users can see exactly what actions their agents are authorized to perform. All agent actions are recorded on-chain with complete transparency, ensuring trust-minimized AI where sophisticated decision-making operates within cryptographically enforced constraints.
Beyond yield optimization, Giza’s agents have compelling use cases as the liquidity wormhole of DeFi. They act as the single passage capital trusts on both the way in and the way out, providing friction-free, trust-minimized intake followed by algorithmic redeployment that maximizes productivity from every unit of capital. Giza aims to be the backbone for autonomous intelligent markets, extending to all liquidity in DeFi and all possible use cases.
As AI becomes more integrated into financial systems, the regulatory landscape is expected to evolve from entity-level to model-level accountability. Giza is prepared for this shift, as its agents already operate with policy hashes on-chain, proofs in-flight, and optional compliance modules that can plug into any jurisdictional framework. Korzay envisions that verifiable agents will become the gold standard in finance automation, and Giza aims to be the reference implementation.
