Giza, a developer of web3 agents, has announced the upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE) for its native token, $GIZA, scheduled to commence on May 29. This event marks the earliest opportunity for the public to acquire the $GIZA token, which will power the company's AI-driven decentralized finance (DeFi) agents.
The $GIZA token will play a crucial role in facilitating Giza's agentic framework, which supports the intelligent automation of DeFi markets. Token holders who stake their $GIZA tokens will contribute to governance, while node operators staking the token will enhance protocol validation and security. Additionally, the token will be used to seed agent liquidity for new strategies, further bolstering the framework's capabilities.
Giza's agentic framework addresses the limitations of traditional blockchains by integrating AI capabilities. Unlike traditional smart contracts, which are static and can only execute on-chain commands, Giza's framework supports off-chain agents registered on the blockchain. This allows agents to operate both within the blockchain and independently, providing greater flexibility and efficiency.
Giza's flagship agent, ARMA, has already demonstrated its prowess by optimizing over $30 million across more than 100,000 autonomous trades, positioning users advantageously on every block. The launch of the $GIZA token is expected to further enhance the platform's capabilities, enabling it to host intelligent AI agents within a fully decentralized protocol.
Renç Korzay, CEO of Giza, emphasized the significance of this development, stating, "The global shift toward hyper-personalized agents is reshaping every tech interface. Finance won’t be left behind. $GIZA is your key to this new era of decentralized finance. Autonomous capital intelligence with complete user control."
Giza has taken strategic steps to enhance its platform, including debuting on the Base platform. This move provides scalability and a better user experience due to lower transaction costs compared to the Ethereum mainnet. The integration also facilitates quicker fund transfers and proposes integrations with protocols such as
, Morpho, and Compound. These integrations will enable Giza's AI agents to lend or borrow assets at optimal rates, harvest liquidity mining rewards, and rebalance trade positions across platforms, transforming DeFi into an automated and highly accessible user experience.Giza has secured $5.2 million in private funding, led by CoinFund, with additional backing from Arrington Capital and Base Ecosystem Fund. The token sale is expected to support the launch of Giza's protocol, which will power the next generation of autonomous financial agents operating 24/7 and adapting dynamically to market conditions. This development highlights Giza's commitment to leveraging AI to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of financial services, positioning the company at the forefront of the DeFi revolution.
