General Mills has launched a limited-edition food lineup inspired by the upcoming film "Wicked: For Good," set to release on November 21, 2025. The new offerings include cookies, cereal, and baking mixes, all themed around the iconic witches Glinda and Elphaba from the movie.
The lineup features Pillsbury Shape cookies with designs inspired by Glinda's sparkling crown and Elphaba's iconic hat. These cookies are pre-cut and ready to bake, making them perfect for fans who want to add a touch of magic to their movie nights. The cookies will be available at retailers nationwide starting early-August, priced at 2 for $7 [1].
Additionally, General Mills has introduced two exclusive cereal varieties at Walmart: Glinda Good Berry and Elphaba Caramel Apple. These cereals are designed to sparkle and pop, blending movie magic with breakfast offerings. Both cereals are available now, priced at 2/$7 for the mid-size and 2/$10 for the family size [1].
Betty Crocker has also returned with new Mix-to-Reveal cupcake kits and cookie dough pop kits. These kits allow fans to bake treats that reveal their "true colors," with new and improved flavors. The kits will be available at retailers nationwide starting in late-August, priced at $5.98 [1].
Susan Pitt, Brand Experience Director at General Mills, stated, "After seeing how much fans loved last year’s Betty Crocker and Wicked collaboration, we knew we had to go even bigger for the sequel with more General Mills favorites and more creative ways to bring that home" [1].
These limited-edition products are part of General Mills' strategy to build its brands and innovate, as seen in its fiscal 2025 net sales of U.S. $19 billion [2].
