Gemini Launches Tokenized MSTR Shares on Blockchain for EU Customers

Gemini, a prominent crypto exchange, has introduced tokenized shares of Strategy (MSTR) for customers in the European Union. This move marks the commencement of Gemini's initiative to offer tokenized U.S. equities on blockchain networks. The offering is facilitated through a partnership with Dinari, a tokenization platform, enabling Gemini users to purchase fractional shares of Strategy as on-chain tokens that are backed by real securities.

Initially, MSTR tokens will be available on the Arbitrum network, with plans to expand to additional networks in the near future. Gemini's goal is to democratize access to U.S. stocks by integrating traditional equities with the 24/7 liquidity and accessibility of crypto markets. The exchange emphasizes that anyone with a smartphone and an internet connection can gain access to tokenized U.S. equities like MSTR on the blockchain.
