The companies will co-develop a hybrid electric turbogenerator for defense and civil applications, enabling Advanced Air Mobility in the US. GE Aerospace will invest $300 million in BETA and the two will combine their expertise to create a hybrid solution that enhances range, payload, and speed performance compared to other aircraft in the same segment.
