Gaming Meets Blockchain: Compact Games NFT Launches Arcade Classics as Collectibles

The gaming and blockchain worlds are set to collide with the launch of a new NFT collection, Compact Games NFT, featuring virtual game CDs as non-fungible tokens. Starting from January 31, traders can mint and run these games on desktop and mobile devices, adding a new dimension to the NFT landscape.

Available on the NFT marketplace Magic Eden, Compact Games offers traders a collection of 33 unique games, each with four kinds of rarities: standard, bronze, silver, and gold. The games featured on the Compact Games NFT site have an arcade-style of gameplay, reminiscent of classic mobile games like Candy Crush or Flappy Bird. Some of the titles include The Witch, Spirit Halloween, Shumii, and Moonsheep, with many taking inspiration from popular crypto icons, such as Pengu Pong, Cryptoads, Flappy Pengu, and Odd Toad Run.

The developers have prepared a total of 3333 "virtual game CDs" that traders can purchase as a non-fungible token at a price of 0.06 ETH. Minting for Compact Games NFT will begin on January 31 on the Abstract mainnet, alongside other popular NFTs. The collection is set to launch on the Abstract Chain, with a mint date of January 31st.
