FuboTV, the leading sports-first live TV streaming platform, has announced the launch of Fubo Sports, a standalone sports content service set to debut on September 2, 2025. This new offering aims to provide consumers with a more affordable and focused sports streaming experience.

Fubo Sports will feature over 20 sports and broadcast networks, including national and local coverage of professional and college teams. The service will be priced at $45.99 for the first month, with a subsequent monthly fee of $55.99. In addition to live channels, the service will include Video on Demand (VOD), Unlimited DVR, and Family Share. Access to ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer Unlimited plan, which includes ESPN+, will be bundled with a Fubo Sports subscription.

The new service is designed to cater to passionate sports fans who want a more affordable and focused streaming option. David Gandler, co-founder and CEO of Fubo, stated, “At Fubo, we have always believed a streaming service must provide consumers with multiple, flexible and more affordable content options. The launch of Fubo Sports will add another content tier to our broad portfolio, super-serving passionate sports fans.”

Fubo Sports will initially be available in select markets, with further market availability expected in the future. The service will include local broadcast stations owned-and-operated by ABC, CBS, and FOX, as well as additional affiliates in select markets. Networks such as ACC Network, Big 10 Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Fox News, FS1, FS2, Fubo Sports Network, ION, NFL Network, SEC Network, and Tennis Channel will be part of the initial lineup, with some network 4K content also available.

The introduction of Fubo Sports comes as a strategic move to offer consumers more choice and flexibility within the Fubo ecosystem. The company currently offers several plan options, including Pro, Elite with Sports Plus, and Latino, alongside the forthcoming Fubo Sports service.

Investors have reacted positively to the news, with shares of FuboTV jumping 3.3% in the morning session following the announcement [2]. The stock later cooled down to $3.55, up 1.6% from the previous close. Despite the volatility, some analysts view the launch of Fubo Sports as a meaningful move that could attract more subscribers and enhance the company's competitive position in the streaming market.
