NVDA --

Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., the parent company of Foxconn, is constructing the world's largest GB200 manufacturing facility in Mexico to address the significant demand for NVIDIA's Blackwell platform. This initiative reflects Foxconn's strategic alliance with NVIDIA, a collaboration deemed crucial by Benjamin Ting, the Senior Vice President of Foxconn's Cloud Enterprise Solutions Business Group.

Foxconn, known as the largest electronics contract manufacturer globally and a primary assembler for Apple's iPhones, is also a producer of servers. This positions the company to benefit significantly from the ongoing artificial intelligence surge. As stated by Ting during the company's annual Technology Day, the desire for NVIDIA's Blackwell platform is immense, reinforcing the necessity of the new manufacturing site.

Chairman Young Liu of Foxconn highlighted the transformative commercial value of artificial intelligence for businesses during the Technology Day event. He emphasized that Foxconn's manufacturing capabilities are being redefined by artificial intelligence. The company has prepared its supply chain by integrating advanced cooling liquid and thermal technologies essential for supporting the GB200 server infrastructure.

Last year, NVIDIA's CEO Jensen Huang attended Foxconn's Technology Day, signaling the strength of the collaboration, though he did not attend this year. The absence, however, does not overshadow the ongoing joint efforts that aim to meet the increasing market demands.
