Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has recently faced intense scrutiny due to the aggressive immigration policies implemented under the Trump administration. These policies have sparked widespread protests and criticism, particularly concerning the tactics used by ICE agents. The agency, led by Acting Director Todd Lyons, has been supported by numerous private companies that provide a wide range of services, from internet and package delivery to essential supplies like soap and bed linens. The White House's proposed budget, known as Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” allocates $75 billion in additional funds for ICE operations, with a significant portion aimed at increasing detention capacities for adults and families.
