A forest fire on Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore has been contained at 30 hectares after firefighters battled the blaze overnight. The fire did not grow overnight and no structures have been lost. Rain on Sunday evening helped to slow the fire's spread, and crews will focus on extinguishing hot spots today. Dozens of nearby homes remain evacuated, with an evacuation order still in place for some areas.
